Alice Mary DeSutter was born April 27, 1906 to Camiel and Marie (VanHee) DeSutter at Ghent, Minnesota. She grew up and attended school in Ghent. She and Henry Buysse were united in marriage on August 5, 1925 at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Ghent. They farmed in rural Minneota for fifty years and then moved to Minneota in 1975. Alice was a lifetime member of St. Edward Catholic Church, a member of the Joan of Arc Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Alice died on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at the Minneota Manor Health Care Center in Minneota.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, parents, five brothers and four sisters.
